1. Data controller
Showplustv is published by the merchant Showplustv. The publisher's full details are provided on request through the help center.
This policy explains which personal data Showplustv collects on showplustv.com, why, and what your rights are. It applies to the store, your customer account and the help center.
2. Data we collect
Account: name, e-mail address, country, currency, language, password (stored hashed, never in clear text). Orders: products bought, amounts, payment method, activation details you enter (MAC address, device identifier, application), delivered codes (encrypted at rest). Wallet: top-ups, payments, refunds, invoices and cryptocurrency payment addresses. Support: messages sent to the help center and to the chat assistant. Technical: IP address, browser, pages viewed and security logs.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Contract performance: creating your account, processing and delivering your orders, running your wallet, answering your requests. Legal obligations: accounting retention of transactions, fraud and non-payment prevention. Legitimate interest: site security, abuse prevention (trial limits, login attempts), service improvement. Consent: non-essential notifications, where applicable. We never sell your data and do no targeted advertising.
4. Recipients and processors
Your data is processed by our team and by strictly necessary providers: site hosting and security (cloud host and content delivery network), transactional e-mail delivery, card and cryptocurrency payment providers (who receive only the amount, the order reference and, for cards, your e-mail address), product suppliers (who receive the activation details required, never your identity) and, if you use the chat assistant, the language-model provider (who receives the content of your messages). Some providers are located outside Morocco and the European Union; transfers rely on their contractual safeguards.
5. Cookies and local storage
The site uses cookies and local storage for sign-in, your cart, language and privacy choices. Cart contents are sent to the server when you order.
To measure visits and loading speed on public pages, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, uses no local storage and does not follow visitors across sites or from one visit to the next. It receives technical data (page viewed, referring page, browser, country and loading times) without any visitor identifier.
With your permission, Google Analytics measures public page visits, cart interactions, and confirmed purchases and refunds. It receives a browser identifier, product and transaction references, currency and amount. We do not send your contact details, passwords, activation data or private URLs. Google is not loaded before you agree, and advertising features are disabled. You can reject or withdraw permission through Privacy choices in the footer. The choice is kept for up to 180 days; withdrawal stops future sends but does not automatically erase data Google already received.
6. Retention periods
Account and wallet: for the life of the account, then 3 years after the last activity. Orders, invoices and wallet entries: 10 years (accounting obligations). Delivered codes: 12 months after delivery, to allow support and replacements. Support messages: 3 years. Technical logs: 12 months. An inactive account may be closed after prior notice.
7. Security
Encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, codes encrypted at rest, payment keys stored encrypted and never displayed, logged administrator access, encrypted backups. No bank-card number ever passes through or is stored by Showplustv: entry happens with the payment provider.
8. Your rights
You may access your data, correct it, request its deletion (subject to legal retention periods), object to processing based on legitimate interest, request restriction or portability, and withdraw consent at any time. Exercise these rights from the help center while signed in; we reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your country's data-protection authority (in Morocco, the CNDP).
